The Lord God of Israel says "THE LAND IS MINE".
In recent days we have watched as "diplomatic initiatives" have led to the first step
towards a "Jew-free" (Judenrein) Arab state within the boundaries of the Jewish Biblical homeland promised
by God as an everlasting, unconditional inheritance to the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob ...... the Jews.
This raises a few pertinent questions.
If it is politically acceptable by the international community
for Jews to be forcefully ejected from the Gaza Strip, does the international community deem it acceptable for Palestinian
Arabs to be forcefully ejected from Israel ?
In the logic of humanism, the peace activist
will say, "Pity the poor Palestinians. They deserve their own homeland too."
And
such activists will work tirelessly towards this goal venting bitter vitriol towards the supposed Jewish oppressor and occupier
of Palestinian lands, never bothering to check history to see if any of it is true.
Others refer to demographics and statistics relating to the opposing populations, emphasising the Arab majority in
certain territories.
If this is strictly a numbers game, Israel ought to consider packing up and leaving
the Middle East altogether right now.
Because the fact of the matter is that Jews are vastly outnumbered
in their neighbourhood. Period. End of story.
There are 300 million Arabs in the Middle East and approximately 6
million Jews.
By a logical extension of the above principle, the Arab citizens of Israel proper should be
viewed in a similar light as they are surrounded by a Jewish majority. Shouldn't they be "encouraged"
to pack up and relocate to the Palestinian Authority?
Of course not. For one, their Jewish neighbours
have accepted them and granted them full citizenship rights, instead of indoctrinating their population with an agenda that
seeks their genocide.
The late Palestinian Chairman Yasser Arafat was prepared to
use this mind-set as part of the PLO's "phased plan" to eradicate the Jewish state.
In
his private speech entitled "The Impending Total Collapse of Israel" in Stockholm, Sweden on January 30,
1996 - witnessed by many journalists and politicians - Arafat declared;
"We Palestinians
will take over everything, including all of Jerusalem....All the rich Jews who will get compensation will travel to America....We
of the PLO will now concentrate all our efforts on splitting Israel psychologically into two camps. Within five years we will
have six to seven million Arabs living in the West Bank and in Jerusalem...Within five years we will have six to seven million
Arabs living in the West Bank and in Jerusalem....You understand that we plan to eliminate the State of Israel and establish
a purely Palestinian State....I have no use for Jews; they are and remain Jews."
God,
of course, has another plan, the complete restoration and redemption of the Jewish people and Israel.
This
is the reason we have the Israel – Palestinian conflict today.
The Devil knows that his
time is short and continues his agenda to destroy the Jewish people, their Land and their city of Jerusalem.
A
people who God has promised to redeem. A Land to where Jesus has promised to return. A city that God has chosen as His own.
This is why the world is increasingly siding with the Palestinians even though they have proven to use
brutal tactics of terrorism against innocent civilians.
The delusion of the
unbeliever in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is so deep, so powerful, that it will continue to blind the world until
all hope of repentance is gone. Then the end will come.
Whilst the Palestinian
terrorist groups call for the total eradication of the Jewish state, some of what the west term 'moderates'
appear to highlight Israel's return to the pre-1967 borders as acceptable for "peace".
If
the pre-1967 borders were of such importance and significance, why did the combined Arab world wage war against Israel in
1948 and 1967 when the territories of the Gaza Strip and the so called "West Bank" (Judea & Samaria)
were in Arab hands ?
In fact, in 1948 Israel's borders were smaller. It should also be noted that
the Palestine Liberation Organisation was created by the Arab world in 1964.
Hence any "Palestine"
that need "liberating" would in fact have been the state of Israel itself.
If the Arab world is prepared to live peacefully alongside Israel, why were virtually all of the 800,000+ Jews
forcefully ethnically cleansed from the Arab nations of the Middle East surrounding the rebirth of Israel in 1948. A policy
now being echoed in the autonomous areas of the Palestinian Authority and the Gaza Strip itself where Jews are being forced
to leave to appease the Arabs.
In this age of moral relativism, there is one simple
truth that we would be wise not to forget.
There would not be one Palestinian refugee today
if the Arab world had indeed accepted the legitimacy of the Jewish state in 1948 and agreed to UN Resolution 181.
The Palestinians did not lose their homes and land in 1948 because Israel was created, but rather
because the Arab world failed to destroy the Jewish state.
Compliance or recognition
of UN Resolutions were of no consequence when the Arab world decided to pursue the genocide of the Jewish people, just three
years after the Holocaust.
Indeed, seven Arab countries launched a
war of annihilation & genocide against the reborn state of Israel. Hundreds of thousands of Palestinians refugees fled
during that conflict, most of their own free will.
The following is a direct quotation during
1948 of the public declaration of Jamal Al-Hussein, the Vice-president of the A.H.C. (Arab High Committee - the effective
Palestinian-Arab `government' );-
"We are sadly and PERMANENTLY determined
to fight to the last man against the existence in our country of ANY Jewish state, no matter how small it is..."
A general public circular of the same Arab High Committee at that time also publicly declared,
just three years after the Holocaust when Jews were still fleeing Europe for refuge in their reborn homeland;-
"The Arabs have taken into their own hands, the FINAL SOLUTION of the Jewish problem. The problem will
be solved only in blood and fire. The Jews will be driven out."
The combined
intention, celebrated enthusiastically all over the Arab world, was expressed plainly and publicly by Azzam Pasha, Secretary-General
of the Arab at a Cairo press conference, May 15, 1948;
"This will be a war of extermination and
a momentous massacre, which will be spoken of like the Mongolian massacres and the Crusades."
The last binding international legal instrument in the West Bank and Gaza was the League of Nations Mandate,
which explicitly recognized the right of Jewish settlement in all territory allocated to the Jewish national home in the context
of the British Mandate.
To call the Israeli presence in their OWN ancient homeland an "occupation"
is ridiculous.
If there is an occupation, it would have to be the Arab occupation of Jewish historical land!
Jews have lived in Judea and Samaria ( "West Bank" ) for over 3,500 years.
The only time Jews have been prohibited from living there was during Jordan's 19 year Arab rule from
1948 to 1967.
Jews and Christians are the indigenous people of the Middle East in what is
now referred to as Israel, Judea-Samaria and Gaza.
Here Judaism and Christianity flourished for centuries
BEFORE Islam even became a religion.
It is Islam that is the "new-comer, the invader, the squatter, the
illegal occupier..." for Islam (and the first Muslim) never appeared before 622AD.
The Christians
had already been there for six centuries, the Jews for over FIFTY centuries!
The
following is a historical fact. The Supreme Soviet, (referring specifically to the Soviet Union's occupation of Eastern
Europe during and after World War 2, having defeated the invading Nazi forces), formulated the following which was
wholly acceptable to the International Community;-
"A people which has been attacked,
has defended itself and wins wars, is bound by sacred duty to establish for itself in perpetuity, a political situation which
will ensure the liquidation of the sources of aggression. It is entitled to maintain this state of affairs as long as the
danger of aggression does not cease. A nation which has attained security at the cost of numerous victims will never agree
to the restoration of the previous borders. No territories are to be returned as long as the danger of aggression still prevails..."
(This declaration was published in Pravda on 02 September 1964.)
What was deemed acceptable
by the International Community in relation to the Soviet Union however is international anathema when applied to Israel.
The same International Community, including Russia, calls for Israel to return such land captured in 1967 and withdraw
to it's boundaries of yester-year even at the risk of the Jewish State's eradication.
Israel is the only nation in history to be repeatedly attacked by neighbouring armies and after inflicting humiliating defeats
upon them, is then pressurised to adopt the posture of a defeated nation by suing for peace and returning captured territory,
further endangering it's very existence.
A point to ponder.
Inhabiting the largest land mass of any ethnic group in the world, the Arabs of today occupy 22 nations ... 99½%
of the ENTIRE Middle East land mass while Israel has only a ½ of 1% speck on this same map. (But that's still too
much land for the Arabs to spare. They want it all).
The writer deems it appropriate
that his final phrase should humbly and respectfully echo the Words of the Lord God of Israel.
The
ultimate Authority said of His people Israel;
".... for he who touches you touches
the apple of His eye." (Zechariah 2; v8)
In relation to the Land, He
unambiguously and uniquely declared;
'The land shall not be sold permanently, for the
land is Mine..." (Leviticus 25; v23)
