Appeasement Most Foul - “All The People of the Earth and 'Palestine' “.
“Why do the nations rage, And the
people plot a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, And the rulers take counsel together, Against the LORD and
against His Anointed, saying, "Let us break Their bonds in pieces And cast away Their cords from us."
He
who sits in the heavens shall laugh; The Lord shall hold them in derision. Then He shall speak to them in His wrath, And distress
them in His deep displeasure: "Yet I have set My King On My holy hill of Zion." "I will declare the decree:
The LORD has said to Me, 'You are My Son, Today I have begotten You. Ask of Me, and I will give You The nations for Your
inheritance, And the ends of the earth for Your possession. You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them to
pieces like a potter's vessel.'"
Now therefore, be wise, O kings;
Be instructed, you judges of the earth. Serve the LORD with fear, And rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest He be angry,
And you perish in the way, When His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him.”
(Psalm 2)
“You
declare, my friend, that you do not hate the Jews, you are merely anti-Zionst. And I say, let the truth ring forth from the
high mountain tops, let it echo through the valleys of God's green earth; When people criticise Zionism, they mean Jews
– this is God's own truth.” (Martin Luther King Jr. - August 1967)
The rising flood of anti-Semitism under the pseudo guide of “legitimate” criticism of Israel is raging unabated throughout the Western world, not least in this country.
There
has been indignation on the part of many, however hostile to the Jews, at being painted with the anti-Semitic “brush”. Hitler gave anti-Semitism a “bad
name” and there is widespread reluctance
on the part of even the most severe critics of the Jews to accept this label.
Criticism of Israel, like that of any other nation, is quite normal
as long as it is comparative, contextual, and fair. However, when the Jewish nation is the only party criticized for faults, often obsessively, that
are far worse among other peoples, then such criticism crosses the line from being acceptable to being blatantly anti-Semitic. This
applies to the individual, group, or media entity concerned. It also applies to the International community and the body of
countries who call themselves the United Nations.
Cloaked in the more socially acceptable political/humanitarian
euphemisms of anti-Israelism or anti-Zionism, it doesn't much effort on the part of a honest individual to see the basis
of ensuing comments.
Modern anti-Semitism has taken on a more socially acceptable
form today. It's now anti-Zionism or anti-Israelism instead of hatred of the Jews. Instead of calls to “throw the Jews into the sea” we now hear talk
of “a
world without Zionism”. Those with discernment don't have far to look to find that they are one
& the same.
It seems that those who hate the Jewish people and their
nation have learned the lesson of the Islamic/Arab world who are more than aware that the “Palestinianization”
of the campaign to eradicate Israel arose from a realisation that you can further your agenda far more successfully through
the political/humanitarian goals of self determination than with declarations of intended genocide.
The very adoption
of the “Palestinian cause” then becoming the “fig leaf” for the Arab/Islamic
war against Israel. A cause which has cloaked its parallel agenda with political and media spin which has completely distorted
the public's perception of what is really going on in the Middle East.
The Arab world,
which was the 'Goliath', has now stepped into the shadows so that Israel can be framed as the “Goliath” against the Palestinian
“David”. It's utter propaganda to shield an unchanged agenda. Astute observers will note how the
Palestinian leadership report back to the Arab League at every junction in negotiations with Israel.
Indeed many are of the opinion that you can say what you want about the Jews or what you call Zionists without being
called an anti-Semite. An approach often used by the accuser as a shield to avoid them being personally confronted with any
criticism of being anti-Semitic, while at the same time enabling them to ridicule the victim and effectively say what he/she
wants in relation to Israel and the Jewish people with relative impunity.
Any aggrieved person being simultaneously
intimidated/warned away any from responding with accusations of anti-Semitism – whether such is present or not - for
fear of even further ridicule. It damns the victim if he/she is silent or if they speak up. A very effective weapon for quelling
freedom of speech and for the perpetration of racism and hatred.
Due to obsessive anti-Israeli coverage in the media,
hostility to Israel is now so widespread that irrational thinking about the Jewish state has now taken such deep roots that
outright falsehoods have gained a very wide currency on this subject.
The media theme repeatedly being shown to be that Israel alone is responsible for the turmoil in the Middle East
and that Israel alone holds the key to peace/stability. Many subsequently portraying Israel as an outlaw state. This creating
an international climate of anti-Israeli sentiment, that the Arab/Islamic world is intent upon using towards the eradication
and annihilation of the Jewish state.
It is quite legitimate for UN bodies to criticize member states but not when
they do do so unfairly, selectively, massively, exclusively, and always obsessively. The demonstration of such overt bias
practiced against one state, clearly with a view to it's isolation and vilification, undermines the UN's credibility
and integrity.
The UN has indeed lost all credibility in relation to
Israel it's votes are being considerably devalued due to their manipulation in promoting & fulfilling an agenda which
is both hostile & disportionate towards Israel.
The General Assembly annually adopting a plethora of one-sided
& narrow resolutions that single out Israel for special treatment while far more serious issues relating to other countries
are either ignored/sidelined.
The UN even has it's own “Palestinian Units,” such as “the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the
Palestinian People”, “the
Division on Palestinian Rights”, & “the
Special Committee to Investigate Israeli Practices affecting the Human Rights of the Palestinian People & Other Arabs
of the Occupied Territories” & has repeatedly held "Emergency Special Sessions" focusing solely on Israel & holds an annual “Palestine” day.
The ongoing Middle East “peace process” has manifested the
true slant and agenda of the “nations” - “the peoples of the earth” - in relation to God's
People and Land of Israel in these end times.
Recent events have only served to reinforce
this. It being clear that the World has expediently forgotten that the Israeli government,
together with many International entities, only agreed to recognise and speak to Arafat/PLO at the very outset, on the firm
agreement that they refrain from and renounce violence/terrorism/incitement, recognise the right of Israel to exist and attend
the negotiating table. They did none of these things. Israel released thousands of prisoners as "confidence-building measures" and "ceded territory for peace" only to receive more
terrorism, gun attacks and suicide bombings.
The PLO under the
Palestinian Authority and Arafat's successor Mahmoud Abbas et al still embraced terrorism, made racial incitement against
the Jews and Israel fundamental to the official EU sponsored Palestinian media and education syllabus while walking away from
the negotiating table.
The Israeli government while acting in self defence, has subsequently been subjected to
widespread international criticism, with even it's sovereign right of self defence being brought into question. Palestinian
violence now being seen as "legitimate" and any Israeli act of self defence being the issue brought into
question. History and the present indeed being turned "upside down".
The
title of the article referring to Middle East peace envoy Tony Blair speaks volumes in itself; "Nothing is more important
than creating Palestine"....
Just as significant is that of the following article relating to Russian leader Putin "Putin
calls Russia defender of Islamic world".
The lessons of the Arafat era have been largely swept under the rug: his persistent mendacity, use of terrorism,
cynical exploitation of an “underdog” posture to garner sympathy, and unfailing devotion to the dream
of wiping Israel off the map. His successor, Mahmoud Abbas, has made good his promises to follow in Arafat's footsteps
but the World has looked the other way.
In recent years the International
community has paid “lip service” to concerns pertaining to Israel's security with reference
to any negotiated settlement with the Palestinian Arab world. Current events have shown this to be “lip service”
indeed and nothing else, as the World treads underfoot Israel's security concerns with a plethora of nations being
prepared to recognise a “Palestinian” state within the 1967 boundaries outside of any negotiated borders
etc..
These nations including Brazil, Chile, Uruguay, Guyana, Ecuador and Bolivia. This
while Russia has reaffirmed its own recognition of a Palestinian state along the same lines, while the US has allowed a Palestinian
flag to fly in Washington.
The Palestinians and the nations have
now been exposed for what they are. Any calls for a negotiated peace are binned when the Arabs cannot get what they want.
It was the same in 1948 and at every junction since. Even the charters of Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah, let alone Hamas, still
call for the eradication of Israel. The PLO's phased plan to destroy Israel is still operative. These unilateral actions
by the Palestinian Authority are formative to this very agenda.
In 1988, at Algiers,
under Yasser Arafat the Palestinian National Council approved a "Palestinian Declaration of Independence".
Recognition
of this state of “Palestine'” had no practical consequences, or any reality on the ground. However a number of parties friendly
to the PLO and the Arab/Islamic world sought to appease these bodies by a tacit recognition of the existence of “Palestine'”- albeit a state
without UN recognition, without recognised borders or any real governing body. Even the PLO itself being in exile in Tunis
at that time.
In December 1988, to further his delusion, PLO Chairman Yasser Arafat proceeded to make a speech referring specifically
to UN Resolution 242 and the rights of all "states" to sovereignty.
Of course UN Resolution 242 makes no mention whatsoever of the Palestinians, the
Palestinian people or the state of “Palestine” but emphasised secure and recognised boundaries of all the existing states in the region.
No such boundaries
of any Palestinian state have of course been recognised today, some 22 years hence, let alone at that time.
During the Middle East "peace process'" of ensuing years the "secure and recognised
boundaries" of the Jewish state of Israel have been at the forefront
of all Jewish leaders concerns in negotiations amongst the parties concerned.
Now in 2011 it would sadly appear
to be the case that the failure of the Arab and Islamic world to provide Israel with "secure and recognised boundaries" has now metamorphosized
into a state of affairs whereby the "priority" of the nations
is now the recognition of a Palestinian state without taking such Israeli security into
consideration, and without any negotiated borders/boundaries.
Whereas Israel has repeatedly made
concessions for peace towards the Palestinians and the Arab/Islamic world, not a single concession has been forthcoming from
the Palestinian side. The Palestinian leadership instead making repeated demands for the ceding of more Israeli territory
and the renouncing of Jewish claims to the land have emanated in their place.
Many elements in the International community have recently
made it plain that it is their intent in the very near future to recognise a state of "Palestine" within the 1967 borders - with "East" Jerusalem as its capital
- if they have not already
made a point of already publicly declaring such a declaration.
For "the
nations of the world" sacrificing the state of Israel upon the altar
of political expediency seems to be the order of the day. The 1967 borders were those already occupied by the Arab world for
19 years from 1948 to 1967.
Most forgetting or being willingly ignorant of the fact that Jordan invaded Israel during
the Six Day War, having been duped by Egypt that it was winning its own conflict with Israel, and wanting to share the spoils
in much the same way of a defeated Jewish state, as in the wake of Israel's re-establishment in 1948.
Israel subsequently recovering
the eastern section of Jerusalem and Judea/Samaria during the conflict of self
defence.
Jordan having renamed the latter as the "West Bank" during its 19 year
occupation to remove any suggestion of the Jewish heritage even recognised by the United Nations in the lead up to Israel's
independence of 1948.
A similar procedure to that adopted by the Romans in AD135 who renamed the Jewish homeland as "Syria Palaestina" to utterly remove
any Jewish connection with the territory - Jerusalem being simultaneously renamed "Aelia Capitolina". The name "Palestine" becoming the anglicised
term for "Syria Palaestina".
Since the Arab occupation
from 1948 to 1967 of territories allegedly sought by the Palestinians, the International community has seen fit to ignore the categorical fact that no state
of Palestine was
created by the Arab world or sought when the land was possessed by the Arabs.
The latter instead concerning itself with creating
the Palestinian Liberation Organisation in 1964 to "liberate" land occupied by the Jews - the state of Israel itself. The still existent Palestinian "Plan of Phases" of 1974 clearly
reveals the intent behind the pursuit of this previously Arab-occupied land which had already been used with a view to eradicating
the state of Israel.
Prior to the 1974 meeting which gave rise to the "Phased
Plan", the PLO's position was that it would never accept anything
but the immediate
destruction of Israel.
At the 1974 meeting, the PLO decided to seek Israels destruction in phases, by first establishing a small Palestinian state, then later seeking to conquer the rest of Israel
using such ceding of territory by Israel as a platform to this end..
The Palestinian "phased plan" calling for the establishment of
a national authority on any part of "Palestinian" soil from which Israel withdraws or which is liberated.
The Palestinian "plan
of phases" in brief:
Through
the "armed struggle" (i.e., terrorism), to establish an "independent combatant
national authority" over any territory that is "liberated" from Israeli rule.
(Article 2)
To continue the struggle against Israel, using the territory of the national authority as
a base of operations. (Article 4)
To provoke an all-out war in which Israel's Arab neighbours destroy it entirely ("liberate all Palestinian territory").
(Article 8)

I remember how before the cameras at the
White House on 13 September 1993, then Israeli PM Yitzhak Rabin, called for an end to bloodshed & the conflict between
the Israelis/Palestinians. He shook Yasser Arafat's hand & pledged his commitment to resolve the conflict through
negotiations. Arafat made the same verbal commitment in relation to negotiations being the only way forward.
The
very same day, Yasser Arafat made the following broadcast in Arabic on Jordanian TV;
"Since we cannot defeat Israel in war, we do
this in stages. We take any and every territory that we can of Palestine, and establish sovereignty there, and we use it as
a springboard to take more. When the time comes, we can get the Arab Nations to join us for the final blow against Israel."
Arafat was referring to the Palestinian plan of phases which he put together with Mahmoud Abbas, now the PA Chairman.
Abbas told the Arab League on 06 July 2010 that the “plan of phases” was still active as he voiced his preference for a pan-Arab war with Israel if only the remainder
of the Arab League would join him.
This is the attitude of a Palestinian leader
that wants a return to the 1967 borders without having given up the Palestinian “plan of phases” or his Fatah charter, both of which seek Israel's
eradication..
Indeed, the world has embraced the creation of a
Palestinian state, while being largely ignorant of it's prerequisite, which involves the removal of many thousands of
Jews from land wherein they have their own 3,000 year heritage.
Indeed, rather than the peaceful coexistence of
two peoples a Palestinian state is predicated upon totally ridding the land of Jews. Why should this be?
Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas has also said this month that he will allow "not
a single Jew" in any Palestinian state, or any Jewish soldier in any peacekeeping force that may be the result of
any negotiations. A Judenrein policy which involes the ethnic cleansing of every Jews from the ancient Jewish Biblical homeland.
Despite his "no Jews allowed in Palestine" policy, PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas still demands the
“right of return” for millions of Palestinians and their descendents to Israel. A policy which he is fully
aware would result in the destruction of the Jewish state of Israel by the “back door”. The PA Chairman
has also declared that he doesn't even recognise Israel as a Jewish state.
If Abbas accepts
any negotiated deal with Israel that is less than a totally "Judenrein" state with Jerusalem as it's capital, with the right of return to refugees and their descendents,
a deal that also includes a declaration of an "end of conflict" with "no more demands of Israel", then he will be accused of treason by his own people and face his own end. Arafat faced the
same scenario. He told former US President Clinton as much.
At
the end of the day it remains that the Palestinians do not seek a peaceful co-existence with Israel, or a negotiated settlement,
but what they have ALWAYS said they seek. The replacement of Israel with an Islamic Arab state as taught in the official Palestinian
education and media that the World expediently ignores.
If the true priority
of the Arab world is nationhood for the Palestinian people, instead of just ridding themselves of the Jews, then an agreement
could arise by allowing Jews to remain in a future Palestinian state by guaranteeing them the same rights that Israel gives
to Arabs within it's borders. There'd be no need for the settlement dispute.
If the 400,000 Jewish 'settlers'
living among 2.2 million Palestinians are an obstacle to peace, why are 1.4 million Arab citizens in Israel no risk to the
6 million Israelis?
While the evacuation of Israeli Arab villages is seen as a violation of human rights, how
can the evacuation of Jewish “settlements” in the West Bank be any different?
As
it is Abbas has now elected to impose the death penalty on any Arab selling property/land to the Jews, such is his intent
on ethnic cleansing the entire Jewish population. Yet the world deems this to be acceptable.
It
is notable that the same Palestinian newspaper Al-Hayat Al-Jadida dated 09 Sept 2010 reported how the PA Ambassador to Lebanon,
Abdallah Abdallah, has this month assured the Arab world that current “direct negotiations”
are just part of a larger plan to delegitimize Israel.
Abdallah is quoted as saying, notably in Arabic, that “...the Palestinian-Israeli negotiations…are
not a goal, but rather another stage in the Palestinian struggle… to isolate Israel, to tighten the noose on it, to
threaten its legitimacy, and to present it as a rebellious, racist state.”
The
official PA newspaper Al-Hayat Al-Jadida tells how Abbas, during an Arab League Summit in Libya in March & July, told
his fellow leaders that he still preferred war against Israel but could not do it alone.
The PA newspaper quotes
Abbas;- "We
are unable to confront Israel militarily and this point was discussed at the Arab League Summit...There I turned to the Arab
States and I said: 'If you want war, and if all of you will fight Israel, we are in favor. But the Palestinians will not
fight alone because they don't have the ability to do it.'"
Abbas, who the west loves to laud as a “moderate”, in voicing his approval of a pan-Arab conflict with
Israel was confirming the Palestinian "plan of phases" which he helped pen & that incorporates an alliance of Arab states & the use of ceded land to destroy Israel.

No Palestinian
map caters for ANY existence of Israel and the Islamic world will never accept any Jewish state, irrespective of size/borders
upon territory perceived as forever Islamic. Islamic leaders worldwide confirm this.
Under
the cloak of the 1967 borders, the Palestinians are agreed among their own kind that the borders of the intended “Palestinian” state extend from the Lebanese border in
the north to the Red Sea in the south AND from the Mediterranean Sea in the west to the Jordanian border in the east. In other
words ALL OF MODERN DAY ISRAEL. Every single Jewish village, town or city has been replaced by a Palestinian equivalent.
Furthermore the Palestinian “phased plan” declares that any territory ceded by Israel will be used
as a platform from which to further Israel's demise.
The Arab world, which has failed by conventional military means to destroy Israel on a number of occasions, now demands
that Israel cede any alleged nuclear deterrent. Clearly Israel possessing such a deterrent poses a considerable problem for
any future conflicts along the same lines. It should be noted that most Arab/Islamic states do not even recognise Israel as
a Jewish state and/or its mere right to exist.
The Arab/Islamic
world first tried to eradicate Israel militarily & failed. Then they tried terrorism & failed. Now they engage in
a no-holds-barred propaganda campaign by questioning Israel's right to exist as a Jewish state, or Israel's ethnic
heritage as Jews. Even some Jewish professors, known as “new historians/historical revisionists'” are
playing their part as some did during the Third Reich.
Islam itself denies there are any ethnic Jews & use
this as a platform to dismiss any right to the land which it sees as an Islamic Waqf wherein it will never accept a Jewish
state.
This conflict is not about borders it's about the
existence of Israel in what their enemies perceive as Islamic land. The drumbeat against the presence of Israel has invited
the world to debate the iniquities of Israel & attach legitimacy to attacks against them via an automatic anti-Israeli
majority vote at the UN.
The world embraces the 'necessity' for a “two state solution” but this is a sham and only a platform to gain territory
to further an agenda. As is the pressure to cede Israel's nuclear deterrent.
Conventionally
the Arabs dwarf Israel in military terms and much recent effort has been to remove Israel's nuclear deterrent which severely
impedes the ultimate agenda.
If Israel strikes first with a pre-emptive strike it will be condemned as the aggressor.
If it doesn't it risks severe casualties and destruction - much like 1973. The world meanwhile plays politics serving
their own self interests and political expedience, which will indeed play out in their own actions during the coming conflict.
A
new poll of Palestinians held by the Arab World for Research and Development reveals that while most Palestinians are in favour
or a diplomatic process with Israel, like their leaders, they view it as a strategy for defeating the Jewish state in the
absence of a viable military option.
Asked if the Palestinians should compromise on red-line issues like the demand
to flood Israel with millions of so-called “Palestinian refugees,” control of Jerusalem or final borders, an overwhelming
85.2 percent said there should be no compromises for peace.
Respondents were then asked to rate certain aspects
of the peace process from “essential” to “unacceptable.” Over 83 percent said that replacing Israel
with a Palestinian Arab state from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea is either “desirable” or “essential.” (link refers)
www.israeltoday.co.il/default.aspx?tabid=178&nid=22208
These Palestinian polls echo the result of a summit of the Arab states in Khartoum during August 1967, concluding: "No
peace with Israel, no recognition of Israel, no negotiations with it...." The Palestine Liberation Organization
was formed three years earlier, in 1964, before there were any "Israeli Occupied Territories."
Exactly
what was it, therefore, that the PLO sought to "liberate" between 1964 and 1967?
This critical
question should now be considered as the World seeks to legitimise these same 1967 borders for a Palestinian state, even without
a negotiated settlement or Israel's security being fully considered.
Not to be ignored
in this issue is the regime of Iranian dictator Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who has not only publicly affirmed his desire for Israel's
destruction and the support of a Palestinian state upon Israel's ashes, but who is actively seeking the arrival of the
Islamic “Messiah”, the Mahdi.
Lest we forget, these are some
of his declarations in relation to Israel alone;-
"The Jerusalem-occupying regime, Israel, must be erased from the pages
of time."
"Soon this stain of disgrace will be cleansed from the garment of the world of Islam, and this is attainable."
"In the Middle East they, the global powers, have created a black and filthy microbe called the Zionist regime
so they could use it to attack the people of the region. And by using this excuse, they want to advance their scheme for the
Middle East."
"Israel should be wiped off the face of the world."
"Israel is a rotten tree that will collapse with a single
storm."
"The Zionist regime is on its way out."
"The region and the world are prepared for great changes and are being cleansed of
the satanic Zionist enemies."
Now he has threatened 'a war
without boundaries' if his nuclear facilities are attacked. Israel and the West ignore his rhetoric at their periL.
In the wake of Ahmadinejad's
remarks and his pursuit of a nuclear weapon the comments of Iran's religious leaders need to be taken into consideration.
“The governments of the World should know that ... Islam will be victorious in all the countries of the
World, and Islam and the teachings of the Qur'an will prevail all over the World...” (Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini – Jauary 1979).
“One bomb is enough to destroy Israel.... in due time, the Islamic World will have a military nuclear device...” (Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, Former President of Iran –
December 2001)
With all the above in mind the nations are gathering
together to force Israel to cede its very Biblical heartland to another Arab entity which is sworn to the Jewish state's
destruction. Gaza showed the world what to expect if territory is ceded to the Palestinians. Should Judea and Samaria be ceded
the remaining Jewish territory would be militarily indefensible by conventional means, with Israel's narrow coastal strip
being only NINE MILES WIDE in places. Despite the ominous and looming threats to Israel's security the World has shown
where it stands. It stands against God's People and against His Land.
Israel is the
only nation on the face of the earth that important sections of opinion consider to be guilty for being a nation, wrong for
claiming it's homeland as its own, unjust for trying to defend itself against enemies who wish it's destruction.
Western leaders allow their arms
dealers to sell the Arab states almost 20 times the weaponry they sell Israel with no parallel restrictions as to when/how
these weapons can be used.
The nonchalance with which the entire Western world demands that Israel accepts risks that no elected government
in any Western state would ever willingly accept in relation to it's own security. This is essentially a creeping annulment
of Israel's right to self defence.
The issue of Israel's security has been trodden underfoot by the hatred and agendas of the Islamic/Arab world
and the nations have bought into the lie. It has proven impossible to get rid of the Arab incitement against Jews as it is
fundamental to the Arab/Islamic cause. It has proven impossible to get the Arab world to make a single concession towards
'peace' so the world has surrendered its moral integrity and sacrificed the Jewish state upon the altar of political
expediency.
Neither Israel
or the nations can afford to ignore the fragile foundations on which any peace in the region would be founded as long as hatred
of the Jews continues. Peace agreements that have already been signed, peace offers on the table could evaporate completely
with a simple change of regime, or if existing governments decide that it was in their interests to draw on elemental hatreds
with such widespread public approval.
The world and its Arab apologists is prepared to tread underfoot the continuous Jewish presence
in its homeland, which has been occupied by a plethora of foreign occupiers for some 2000 years, and declare that 2000 years
is somehow too much time for the Jews to now claim the only section of Land that they have had as a national heritage. So
upon what basis does a 60 year Arab claim usurp that of the Jews? If the Arabs had to wait for 2000 years and the Jews survived
this period would the Arabs/Palestinians then be expected to relinquish their claim to the Land by the same token?
If the basis is upon
the most recent occupiers of the land then Israel again wins by default. They have the longer historical and more recent modern
claim to the Land. The Arabs, occupied the Land by conquest under Islam in 7th century AD and tried to rid the
territory of Jews. They failed and lost the land in due course to others before the Jews returned as a re-established nation
to join their brethren who had been there for 3000 years.
So, if 2000 years is too much time for Jews to claim the land while 60 years ago is fine
for Palestinians to claim it, then when would Palestinians lose the right to claim their right of setting up a state on what
we call Israel today? If Israel manages to survive 2000 years then the Palestinians would lose their right to set up their
state on what is today modern Israel?
What
people can be said to have had an older, closer, and more enduring connection to the Land of Israel than the Jewish people?
We (or rather our national predecessors) fled the Land of Israel because of coercion. Never did we as a people voluntarily
renounce our claim to the land - in fact quite the opposite, we have always maintained that as a matter of theology we intend
to return and reestablish our sovereignty at a later time. That is a kind of deep historic title which few other peoples today
can claim.
Israel can now clearly see that
these “part-time allies” now have no real interest in the security of the Jewish people and if Israel's security
is left to these nations then Jews will once more face the spectre of a Holocaust.
Rev D. Pawson cites how out of 737 separate prophecies made in Scripture, some mentioned once
- others many hundreds of times, 594 (over 80%) of these have already been accurately\literally fulfilled.
The remaining prophecies, which relate to the 'unfinished business', are shown to be taking
shape at the time of writing. Check it out before ridiculing prophecies made thousands of years ago pertaining to our time.
The words of the Hebrew prophets are resoundingly clear.
“...Now also MANY NATIONS HAVE GATHERED AGAINST YOU, Who say, "Let her be defiled, And let our eye
look upon Zion." But they do not know the thoughts of the LORD, Nor do they understand His counsel; For He will gather
them like sheaves to the threshing floor. "Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion; For I will make your horn iron, And
I will make your hooves bronze; YOU SHALL BEAT IN PIECES MANY PEOPLES; I will consecrate their gain to the LORD, And their
substance to the Lord of the whole earth." (Micah ch4; v11-13)
“...Thou art my battle axe and weapons of war: FOR WITH THEE WILL I BREAK IN PIECES THE NATIONS, and with
thee will I DESTROY KINGDOMS...” (Jeremiah ch51; v20)
"For behold, in those days
and at that time, When I bring back the captives of Judah and Jerusalem, I WILL ALSO GATHER ALL NATIONS, And bring them down to the Valley of
Jehoshaphat; And I will enter into judgment with them there On account of My people, My heritage Israel, Whom they have scattered
among the nations; THEY HAVE ALSO DIVIDED UP MY LAND...
...Assemble and come, ALL YOU NATIONS, And gather together all around.
Cause Your mighty ones to go down there, O LORD. Let THE NATIONS be wakened, and come up to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; For
there I will sit to JUDGE ALL THE SURROUNDING NATIONS. Put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. Come, go down; For the
winepress is full, The vats overflow - For THEIR WICKEDNESS IS GREAT." Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision!
For the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision. The sun and moon will grow dark, And the stars will diminish their
brightness. ”The LORD also will roar from Zion, And utter His voice from Jerusalem; The heavens and earth will shake;
But the LORD will be a shelter for His people, And the strength of the children of Israel....” (Joel ch3; v1-2, 11-16)
"For I
will gather ALL NATIONS TO BATTLE AGAINST JERUSALEM....Then the Lord will go forth and FIGHT AGAINST THOSE NATIONS, as He
fights in the day of battle. IN THAT DAY HIS FEET WILL STAND ON THE MOUNT OF OLIVES, which faces Jerusalem on the east. And
the Mount of Olives shall be split in two, from east to west, making a very large valley. Half of the mountain shall move
towards the north and half of it toward the south...Thus the Lord my God will come and all the saints with You..", (Zechariah 14; 3-5).
"Thus says the Lord
who stretches out the heavens, lays the foundations of the earth and forms the spirit of man within him, "BEHOLD I WILL
MAKE JERUSALEM A CUP OF TREMBLING TO ALL THE NATIONS, WHEN THEY LAY SIEGE AGAINST JUDAH AND JERUSALEM...And it shall happen
