Replacement Theology; The Church & Israel. by Doug R.

One of the greatest tragedies to befall the Church has been the severance from her Jewish roots. This rift has been the cause of many heresies and departures from Biblical truth.

The Teachings of the early "Church Fathers".

In AD186, Origen, considered by many to be the most learned of the early Church fathers, was born in Alexandria, which became the chief seat of Christian theology until conquered by the Arabs in AD641. Most of Origen's writings were completed between AD204-232, when he composed the chief of his dogmatic treatises, before dying in AD254. An immense scholar and voluminous writer, his works were readily accepted by an audience only too willing to distance itself from the Jew roots of their faith.
Origen, a Platonic philosopher, prescribed a theological system alleging that Scripture "admits" a "three-fold interpretation" corresponding to the "tripartite nature of man".
These being the literal/historical interpretation of Scripture alongside the psychical/ethical and allegorical/mystical interpretations of Scripture.
These newfound concepts which essentially worked out a theology in which the Scriptures could be "spiritualised" would concentrate on those concerning Israel, thus removing the original, literal interpretations & substituting them with allegorical representations which practically removed their true and intended context.

The "Church" Suddenly Replaces Israel.

Origen wrote ".. the masses of Gentiles now constituting the Church are the ‘New Israel' ".
He elaborated that "..we may thus assert in utter confidence that the Jews will NOT return to their earlier situation for they have committed the most abominable crimes in forming this conspiracy against the Saviour of the human race....The Jewish nation was driven from it's country and another people was called by God to the blessed election....Not only was Jerusalem destroyed and Israel sent into exile for crimes, but their divine election was revoked; they were destined to stand in perpetual opposition to God...".

This theology developed into the "replacement theology" so prominent in early Church history which resulted in so much anti-Semitism.
To resolve what was seen as difficulties in explaining the Biblical foundation for the Church's existence, the Church fathers adopted a theology of replacement in which the Church, as "true Israel" replaced the Jews as a "pseudo-Israel" in the programme of God. The de-Judaisation of the Church and the disinheritance of the Jews being completed simultaneously.

The Christian theological understanding concerning Israel thus encapsulated all the blessings, promises and encouragements provided in the Old Testament as now being usurped by the Church as the "new" and "true" Israel. (The Biblical curses declared at the same time in the Scriptures, and part & parcel of the Divine message, being relegated as remaining with the Jewish people because of their disobedience.) The Scriptural basis for such theology does not exist.

God NEVER Intended The Church To Be Separated From It's Jewish Roots.

God never intended the Church (the body of believers in Jesus Christ) which has historically been largely dominated by Gentiles, to be separated from it's Jewish roots. There is nothing in Scripture to even suggest this but a plethora of Scripture which utterly refutes this principle.
The early Church was entirely Jewish, and all it's early leaders were Jewish. Something which largely continued until AD135 when non-Jews became Bishops of Jerusalem.
Indeed, history records that until the second Jewish revolt against Rome in AD133, thirteen Jewish Christian Bishops of Jerusalem had been in place. Some estimates even suggest that as much as 20% of first century Israel may have accepted Jesus as Messiah.
Some 3,000 came to the Lord at Pentecost and shortly afterwards some 5,000 became believers as outlined in Acts ch4;4 (this number does not even include women & children).
Some 25 years later upon Paul's return from his third missionary journey, he met the elders of Jerusalem who revealed that the number of believers had grown to "tens of thousands".

The "Grafting In" Of The Gentiles
The Biblical illustration of God's plan for the Church is provided in Romans ch11;16-26, using the image of the Olive Tree.
The Olive Tree clearly representing Israel, it's roots being the patriarchs Abraham, Isaac & Jacob. From these roots grew the Jewish people.
Meanwhile the Gentiles are pictured as a wild Olive Tree, which does not have these same rich roots as the natural Olive Tree.
The Jewish believers in Jesus Christ are a true, fundamental continuation of the natural Olive Tree.
Gentile believers (from the wild Olive Tree) are shown to have been grafted into the root stock of Israel through their own faith in the Messiah (Ephesians 2;13).
The life-giving sap which thus nourishes the wild branches (the Gentile Church) flows from the root and trunk of Israel.
Thus, rather than replacing Israel, the Gentile Church is engrafted into Israel. The broken off original branches of unbelieving Israel can still be grafted back in by faith - as indeed is becoming increasingly the case in these last days as outlined in Scripture - until all Israel is saved (Romans 11;23).
God has NEVER said that He had finished with the old, natural Olive Tree. He has NOT broken His covenant with Israel. Rather he states that a denial by the Gentile Church of her ongoing connection with Israel & her Jewish roots, is an arrogance which will merit judgement
"I am speaking to you who are Gentiles. Do not be arrogant toward the branches; but if you are arrogant, remember that it is not you who support the root, but the root supports you. You will say then, ‘Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in'. Quite right, they were broken off for their unbelief, but you stand only by your faith. Do not be conceited but fear; for if God did not spare the natural branches, neither will He spare you. Behold then the kindness and severity of God; to those who fell, severity, but to you God's kindness, if you continue in His kindness; otherwise you also will be cut off.. " (Romans 11;18-22).

"Replacement Theology" At The Heart Of Much Anti-Semitism.

The error of Replacement Theology is like a heartbreaking cancer in the Church today that has not only caused countless Christians to violate God's Word concerning the Jewish people and Israel but which has also been foundational to the high levels of "Christian anti-Semitism" over the past 1,900 years or so.
Replacement theology has resulted in the Jewish people being the object of rejection and disinheritance by the Church. During the last 60+ years much of this focus has been in relation to the context surrounding the Holy Land.
The major thrust of much Christian teaching, as well as Arab & anti-Semitic propaganda, is an outright denial of the Jewish people's right to the Land as an unalienable possession as outlined by God's everlasting promises in the Old Testament.
The "disinheritance" focussing on claims that all the Old Testament promises of a future for the Jewish people as a nation and the promise of a latter day restoration to their land are "fulfilled" in Jesus Christ, His ministry, His spiritual kingdom and the Church itself.
Instead of being seen as instruments of love by the Jewish people, many elements of the Church have been seen as an apparatus of hate responsible for many pogroms whose distorted teachings have been used as expedient vehicles providing readily fertile soil for those who have seen fit to target the Jewish people and their nation for no other reason than their race/beliefs.

Church Distances Itself From Jewish Connection.

Early Church history specified that there was to be no connection between the celebration of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The early Christians initially observed "Easter" on the day Passover began (14th of Nisan). The first ecumenical council of the Church of Nicea (AD325) legislated that "Easter" must be celebrated on a Sunday and that it was NEVER to coincide with, or be determined by the date, of the Jewish Passover. Thus "Christian Easter" became a moveable feast, falling on the first Sunday following the first full moon after 21st March.
Referring to this move Constantine said;
"...In unanimously adopting this mode (Easter Sunday), we desire earnest brothers, to separate ourselves from the detestable company of the Jews."
Any objective study of early Church history will reveal that the Jews were regarded as almost a "sub-human monster", with a process of alienation and hostility towards the Jews becoming the guiding rule of "Christian" behaviour. This hatred led inevitably to the appalling history of anti-Semitism, including the "Blood Libel", the Crusades, the Inquisition, pogroms and ultimately the Holocaust.
Towards the end of his life Martin Luther himself wrote;
"Their synagogues or churches should be set on fire and whatever does not burn up should be covered or spread over with dirt so that no-one may ever be able to see cinder or stone of it. And this ought to be done for the honour of God and of Christianity, in order that God may see that we are Christians and that we have not wittingly tolerated or approved of such public lying, cursing and blaspheming of His Son and His Christians.
Their homes should likewise be broken down and destroyed.....Let the young and strong Jews and Jewesses be given the flail, the axe, the hoe and the spade, the distaff and spindle... "

In his book "Mein Kampff" Adolf Hitler himself wrote;
"So I believe that today I am acting in accordance with the will of the Almighty creator; in warding off the Jews, I am striving to do the will of the Lord."

The antagonism of the early Christians towards the Jews was very much reflected in the writings of the early Church Fathers.

The very brief history of the first four centuries of Christianity outlines the establishment of a "legacy of hatred" towards the Jewish people, which was against the clear teaching of the New Testament, against all Christian principles, contrary to the written Word, yet practiced openly by the Church..
For example, Justin Martyr (c. AD 160) in speaking to a Jew said: "The Scriptures are not yours, but ours." "
Irenaeus, Bishop of Lyon (c. AD 177) declared: "Jews are disinherited from the grace of God.""
Tertullian (AD 160-230), in his treatise, "Against the Jews," announced that God had rejected the Jews in favor of the Christians."
Hilary of Poitiers (AD 291-371) wrote: "Jews are a perverse people accursed by God forever."
Gregory of Nyssa (died AD 394), Bishop of Cappadocia: "the Jews are a brood of vipers, haters of goodness..."
St. Jerome (AD 347-407) describes the Jews as "... serpents, wearing the image of Judas, their psalms and prayers are the braying of donkeys."

"Replacement Theology"; A Summary

Put in quite simple terms, replacement theology is a "doctrinal teaching" that originated in the early Church which essentially states that Israel (the Jewish people and their Land) has been replaced by the Christian Church in the purposes of God.

Essentially, replacement theology is a teaching that God, Who cannot lie and Who never changes, has arbitrarily gone back on His Word and cancelled the "everlasting, unconditional covenants" that He made with Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and their descendants (the Jews) and has "transferred" those promises to the Gentile "Church."

It is a teaching which makes ‘God a liar', His Promises & Word of nil effect and which would essentially transform the Bible into just another book of legends and fables.

The God who has said "I am the Lord, I change not" (Malachi 3:6) expediently becomes the "God who changes" and the God who swears by Himself that He has made an "everlasting, unconditional covenant" becomes One who "changes" it into a temporal, conditional ‘promise'.

In other words He does not mean what He says, he does not say what He means and His Word cannot be trusted, or perhaps only for a certain length of time.

Or in essence, replacement theology means that unconditional, everlasting and irrevocable Promises should be ‘taken with a pinch of salt'.......

It becoming ridiculous to suppose that God can still be trusted or truthful if He changes His Promises, their meaning or even goes back on His Word......

If the doctrine of replacement theology held, despite all the clear, unequivocal, everlasting, unconditional promises of God to Israel, and God has proceeded to rejected the Jews contrary to His Word & replaced them with another body - then what possible guarantee or faith can Gentile Christians have in the same God as to whether He will not change His Word in relation to the Church, Salvation or any other doctrine.

As difficult and horrific as this is to contemplate, it is merely the natural progression, the logical extrapolation of how replacement theology contaminates the Word of God.

If God can reject Israel, He could forsake the Church as a whole. Of course He will not and can not. He will forsake neither, though both be judged.
Indeed, this opens the door for His entire Word to be questioned or even "changed" as Islam itself professes to have occurred. (Of course we then enter into an entirely different realm of comparing religions and which and what ‘truths' can be regarded as such and which is the real God...the God of the Bible or Allah).

The fact of the matter is that God says what He means and means exactly what He says !!!!!
Replacement theology teaches that the promises, covenants and blessings ascribed to Israel in the Bible in relation to their Land have been taken away from the Jews and given to the Church (both allegorically and literally), which has superseded them.
However, for some inexplicable reasons, the Jews remain subject to the curses declared simultaneously in the Bible, due to their rejection of Christ.

Replacement theology teaches that the scriptures must be read "spiritually", and absolutely not taken literally, since to do so would force one to conclude that Jewish Israel is an eternally chosen, and recognizable people with a "special" calling, and a "special" land.

According to the doctrine of ‘replacement theology', the Promises made to Jewish Israel must not be taken literally.
In other words when the first covenant uses terms like, Zion, Temple, Jerusalem, promised land, they are all now synonyms for the so called "church".
However, the simple truth is, that when God uses the term Jerusalem, it is a literal city that He has in mind. When He refers to the nation of Israel, it is the children of Israel that He has in mind. When He refers to the Jews, it is the Jews He has in mind. When He refers to Zion, it is the land, and Mt. Moriah that He has in mind.

These are all literal terms, and titles of different concepts, places, and locations.
To boldly, and incorrectly teach that these are all interchangeable, and synonymous terms for the "Christian church", is an outright attack on the literal infallibility, and inspiration of scripture, let alone a direct attack on the Heavenly Father's linguistic intelligence! Yet such principles have become deeply embodied in some elements of the Church.

Interpretation of Scripture.

Before Scripture is approached the manner in which it is understood needs to be explained.
The method of interpretation needs to be consistent and without contradiction and not governed by a theological predisposition or school of thought wherein the Bible can perhaps be twisted to whatever an individual's theology would have it say.
The first principle that should be adopted in the view of the writer is that all Scripture is to be understood in it's most normal, natural sense allowing for 'obvious figures of speech' etc.. Taking Scripture at face value, the Bible suddenly becomes alive in a fresh and vivid way. No longer does the reader need to look for an obscure 'spiritualised' meaning but rather for the literal understanding of events that have actually occurred or will happen sometime in the future.
No more subject is appropriate for such an approach than Scriptures relating to the Holy Land where real time events and locations are readily accessible. Scripture is certainly it's own best interpreter and by comparing Scripture with Scripture any 'seeming contradictions' can be harmonised. No interpretation being valid if it does not genuinely harmonise with all other passages of Scripture relating directly to the same issue. If the Holy Bible is the Word of God then it cannot be contradictory.

The Unconditional, Everlasting, Irrevocable Covenant With The Jews.

The Hebrew-Christian Bible shows that God chose a man for the purpose of creating a special nation - a nation through whom God of His own choice committed Himself to subsequently bring the Messiah (Jesus Christ) into the World (through the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, through the tribe of Judah and specifically from the line of David.....a people who we now refer to as the Jews).
The man chosen was called Abram, who later became Abraham, from Ur of the Chaldeans. God made a unique, special covenant with him and his descendants to facilitate this purpose.
If one studies the Scriptures it is clear that a vast proportion of the entire Bible is actually a type of commentary on the promises that this covenant contains, with much emphasis on the Land and the recipients of the promises - Abraham and his descendants, through the line of Isaac and Jacob (Israel).
The initial requisite of the covenant with Abram was for a requirement on Abram's part to leave his country/home/relatives and to travel to a Land that God would show him. The following Scriptures emphasise the promise and Abraham's subsequent obedience.

"...And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an EVERLASTING COVENANT, to be God to you and your descendants after you. Also I give to you and your descendants after you the land in which you are a stranger, ALL THE LAND OF CANAAN, as an EVERLASTING POSSESSION, and I will be their God." (Genesis 17;5-8).

"....I am the Lord God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac; the land on which you lie I will give to YOU and YOUR descendants. Also your descendants shall be as the dust of the earth; you shall spread abroad to the west and the east, to the north and the south; and in you and in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed. Behold I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will BRING YOU BACK TO THIS LAND; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you." (Genesis 28;13-15).

"...your name shall not be called Jacob any more, but ISRAEL shall be your name. So He called his name Israel. And God said to him "I am God Almighty. Be fruitful and multiply...THE LAND I GAVE TO ABRAHAM AND ISAAC I GIVE TO YOU and to YOUR descendants after you I give this land."  (Genesis 35;10-12).

"I will scatter you among the nations and draw out a sword after you; your land shall be desolate and your cities waste.....You shall perish among the nations, and the land of your enemies shall eat you up....then I will remember My covenant with Jacob, and My covenant with Isaac and My covenant with Abraham I will remember; I will remember the land....YET FOR ALL THAT, WHEN THEY ARE IN THE LAND OF THEIR ENEMIES, I will NOT cast them away, nor shall I abhor them, to utterly destroy them and break MY Covenant with them; for I AM THE LORD THEIR GOD." (Leviticus 26; 44)

These and many other Scriptures reveal that, in addition to His Promise, God had already forseen the disobedience of the Children of Israel and had already declared their future dispersion among the nations, whilst simultaneously declaring that He would NOT utterly destroy them, break His covenant with THEM and that He would also regather them to the Land that He had given them as an eternal inheritance.
The Apostle Paul confirms this in the New Testament;

"I say then, God has not rejected His people, has He? May it never be! For I too an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin"... Romans 11:1
The fact that Paul raises this question using the phrase, "His people" tells us that a special relationship between God and the nation of Israel continued to exist.
""God has not rejected His people whom He foreknew"... Romans 11:2

From the numerous promises made by God to Israel in the Bible, it is clear that the Land itself is eternally and unconditionally given to the Jews, whereas their presence in the Land may be conditional upon her obedience. This is an absolutely pivotal, vital distinction.
Any talk of rejection of the Jewish people is temporary and only as a form of punishment in order to bring them to repentance. Their return to the Land is promised unconditionally. Their return in the latter days being whilst still in an unrepentant state.

"..I will bring you out from the peoples and gather you out of the countries where you are scattered with a mighty hand, with an outstretched arm, and with fury poured out....Then you shall know that I am the Lord, when I bring you into the land of Israel, into the country for which I raised My hand in an oath to your fathers...Then you shall know that I am the Lord, when I have dealt with you FOR MY NAME'S SAKE, NOT ACCORDING TO YOUR WICKED WAYS, NOR ACCORDING TO YOUR CORRUPT DOINGS, O house of Israel', says the Lord God..." (Ezekiel 20; 34, 42, 44)

"It is not for your sake, O House of Israel, that I am about to act, BUT FOR MY HOLY NAME's SAKE, which you have profaned among the nations where you went. And I will vindicate the holiness of My great Name...For I will take you out from the nations and gather you from all the lands and bring you into your own land." (Ezekiel 36; 22-24).

The Bible is clear. God cannot and will not ever divorce Himself from His people Israel (the Jews) completely;

"But Zion said, ‘The Lord has forsaken me, the Lord has forgotten me'. ‘Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I WILL NOT FORGET YOU! See I have engraved you on the palms of My hands; your walls are ever before Me. Your sons hasten back and those who laid you waste depart from you. Lift up your eyes and look around; all your sons gather and come to you'. "AS SURELY AS I LIVE"says the Lord, ‘you will wear them all as ornaments; you will put them on, like a bride'" (Isaiah 49; 14-18).

"God has not rejected His people, has He? May it never be (God forbid)!" (Romans 11; 26-27).

Indeed, Jesus Himself shows that God's promises in the Old Testament to Israel and the Jewish people have not been transferred or removed;
"Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill. For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law, until all is accomplished." (Matthew 5; 17-18).

This is what the Lord says...the Lord Almighty is His Name. "Only if these decrees, (the sun, moon, stars & sea) vanish from My sight....will the descendants of Israel ever cease to be a nation before Me". (Jeremiah 31; 35-37).

"Thus says the Lord; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundation of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, says the Lord." (Jeremiah 31; 37).

New Testament Teachings of Jesus Christ & Others Pre-Supposed Authenticity/Accuracy of Moses and the Old Testament Prophets.

The New Testament does not repeat all the promises of the Old Testament because there was absolutely no need for this. The New Testament writers and central characters, including Jesus Christ Himself, ALL presupposed the authenticity and accuracy of Moses and the Prophets.
The end time teachings of Jesus did not need to include the teaching that physical Israel would be living in the physical promised land, as He knew and, in relation to the Scriptures, presupposed that all the Old Testament prophetic Scriptures were valid and literally true. Sadly, unlike our Lord Jesus, advocates of replacement theology cannot accept the literal truth of the Old Testament.
Paul, in Romans Ch11, admonishes all Gentile Christians to guard against reacting with contempt toward fallen Israel. Instead, all Messianic Gentiles have a special obligation to help the Jewish people come into a relationship with Yeshua (Jesus).
Paul confirms that by their transgression salvation has come to the Gentiles. Israel plays a special role in the plan of God. God has used Israel's rejection of the Messiah to usher in salvation for the Gentiles. The non-Jewish nations have been forgiven, reconciled to God, endowed with His Spirit and given eternal life because of Israel's stumble over Messiah. As a result of the majority's rejection of Messiah, the doors of God's Kingdom are forever opened to those outside of Israel.
Salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel jealous. Because of the way that God has used Israel to bring salvation to the nations, the Gentiles owe a tremendous debt to Israel in return.
Rather than blaming and persecuting the Jews for the death of Yeshua, true Christians are instructed that they should reach out to the Jewish people with love and help them find their Messiah. The Gentiles are called to make Israel jealous by demonstrating the love and reconciliation they have with Israel's God. Israel should be challenged to re-evaluate her rejection of Messiah Yeshua after witnessing the fruits of love and forgiveness in the lives of Messianic Gentiles.
Unfortunately for most of the past 1900 years the Church has failed to do this. Instead of attracting Jews to Yeshua, centuries of anti-semitism in the church has often been a stumbling block that has kept Jews from Yeshua. Persecution in the name of Yeshua by those who call themselves Christians has made it extremely difficult for most Jewish people to hear the Rabbi from Nazareth calling His Jewish people back to Himself.
"Now if their transgression be riches for the world and their failure be riches for the Gentiles, how much more will their fulfilment be! But I am speaking to you who are Gentiles. Inasmuch then as I am an apostles of Gentiles, I magnify my ministry, if somehow I might move to jealousy my fellow countrymen and save some of them. For if their rejection be the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?" (Romans 11:12-15)
"For I do not want you, brethren, to be uninformed of this mystery, lest you be wise in your own estimation, that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in; and thus all Israel will be saved; just as it is written, The Deliverer will come from Zion, He will remove ungodliness from Jacob. And this is my covenant with them, when I take away their sins." ( Romans 11:25-27)

"Partial Hardening" of Israel is only temporary.

This partial hardening is only temporary and will not last forever.
Once the full number of Gentiles from all the nations have been grafted into the Olive Tree of salvation and blessing, God's spirit will be poured out on Israel so that the entire nation will turn to faith in Yeshua as the Messiah.

Paul refers back to Isaiah's prophecy (Isaiah 59:20-21) that the Deliverer will come from Zion and remove the sins of Jacob (the Jewish people). All Israel will be saved by turning to Messiah and embracing the "One whom we have pierced" (Zechariah 12:10).
Indeed, Paul's Jewish identity didn't change when he met the King of the Jews.

Jesus Himself is a Jew. His Jewish identity does not change. Even in the book of Revelation, He is still referred to as the LION OF THE TRIBE OF JUDAH !
"..the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book.."
(Revelation 5:5-7)
Jews and Gentiles must relate to God on the basis of His mercy, not on the basis of our merits. Neither Jew nor Gentile has earned the right to any of God's blessings. Both Jews and Gentiles have had periods of disobedience to God. Both will experience the mercy of God. Israel will again be shown mercy and will turn to faith in Yeshua, her Messiah. God has not rejected His People. It is part of His sovereign plan to shut up both Jews and Gentiles in disobedience that He might show mercy to all.
If God had rejected His people, a Jew like Paul, who at first opposed Yeshua (Jesus) would never have become His Apostle to the Gentiles.
Paul can be considered an example in miniature of the destiny of the whole of Israel who, like Paul, initially opposed the messianic claims of Yeshua. Israel will have her own "Damascus Road" experience encountering the risen Lord Yeshua. Like Paul, the Jewish people will eventually fulfill their destiny to be God's apostle and light to the Gentile nations.
Had the Church understood the clear message of being grafted into the Olive Tree from the beginning, then the sad legacy of anti-Semitic hatred from the Church may have been avoided.
Sadly the anti-Semitism already outlined in the early Church is mirrored in some of the present day teachings of the Church, albeit under less sinister principles/agendas.
Those who support God's literal word pertaining to the Jews and their Land are classed as "Christian Zionists" and are accusing of supporting all of the secular actions of the Israeli Government. Something which is utterly untrue.
Whilst still being sensitive to the ongoing hatred towards the Jewish people, any balanced, fair, contextual and unbiased comment on such matters is not rejected.

However, criticism of Israel is rarely found to be balanced, fair or contextual and is usually based upon hate and propaganda.
It is disturbing to see how some teachings by some elements of the Church even encourage such feelings and have supported the surrender of God's Land (promised as an eternal inheritance to the Jews) to those who believe in other gods than the God of the Bible and who practice beliefs which the Holy Bible itself declares are totally unacceptable.
Repentance and an adherence to God's Word is required and deep-seated questions need to be asked as to the reasons for such practices.
Did Jesus set out to begin a new religion apart from that taught in the Hebraic Scriptures?
Did Paul seek to further that new religion by teaching that Israel was replaced by the Church?
Quite the contrary!

History Confirms Substance Of God's Promises.

The history of the Jews has shown without a shadow of a doubt that, rather than proving that God has cast them off, events actually prove the opposite — that God still holds His chosen people in the palm of His hand. He has preserved her as a nation in spite of every imaginable threat to her existence....and will continue to do so. He shall fulfill ALL His Purposes for His Land and His People, Israel.
Any honest analysis of the Holy Bible and the teachings of "replacement theology" throughout history will reveal that the latter is based upon anything but a love for the Jewish people.
God's Word can be trusted. He says what He means and He means what He says.

His promises to the Jewish people and in relation to their Land are irrevocable.
